A QUICK WARM-UP

Your court.
Your touch.

Tap your side to move
Choose where you stand. Your player helps with nearby returns; tap to cover balls farther away. After an assisted return, you stay where you hit the ball.
Swipe to place the ball
Start on your side and release on their court. The marker shows where the ball will bounce.
Let the swipe choose the shot
Short placement near the net makes a drop. A normal deep swipe makes a drive; a deliberately slow stroke makes a lob. Firm movement adds power. Pauses before moving or lifting do not weaken a measured stroke. The aiming marker shows your power.
Put away a high ball
Get under a high ball outside the kitchen and swipe quickly towards your landing spot for an overhead smash. A slower lob stays a lob; serves and the opening return must still bounce.
Add a little spin
Tap the top-left Flat, Topspin or Backspin button. Flat, topspin or backspin stays selected until you change it.
Keep it alive
One point per return; five extra for a winner. Every five of your returns in the same rally earns a further ten points, even if you later miss. Three missed returns end your run. You can prepare your next swipe while your ball travels. A short placement near the net becomes a dink when you are up at the kitchen. Keep both feet clear of the kitchen and its line to volley.
Serve across
Move before serving by tapping your side. Your player stays behind the baseline and in the correct service half. Your first shot must land in the diagonal service box. A slower deep swipe makes a high-arc serve; the spin control adds topspin or backspin. The opening return must bounce. After that, both players can volley from outside the kitchen.
