Between work, family and everything else, getting to court doesn’t always happen. PaddlePot is a way to keep that love of the game going and share it with anyone keen to give it a try.
It started with games among friends
Getting everyone together was the fun part. Working out who played next could be a little trickier. We’d have awkward numbers for the courts, different skill levels and different ideas about the kind of game we wanted.
Sometimes we wanted a bit of competition. Sometimes we wanted to mix with everyone. We wanted to share court time fairly, balance teams or group players by ability so the games stayed enjoyable. Traditional rotations didn’t always give us the flexibility to do all of that.
That’s where PaddlePot began: a way to make organising those sessions easier, with plenty of room to choose what works for your people.
There’s more than one way to enjoy the game
If you’re new, PaddlePot Learn is a place to get comfortable with the rules and practise scoring at your own pace. If you’re getting friends together, the organiser guides offer ideas for sharing courts and keeping things fun.
And when a real court is out of reach, PaddlePot Rally is there for a little hit on your phone. It’s a small way to keep a bit of pickleball in the day.
How we put these guides together
Our organising guides work through the choices that come up in social play. Invented players and scenarios are labelled as hypothetical. They are explanations, not customer testimonials or measured results from PaddlePot.
Rules lessons identify their official references. Local formats can vary, and a guide cannot cover every ruling. If you spot a mistake or a confusing explanation, send the page link and your correction so we can check it. Dates change when a page is actually reviewed or revised.
Come as you are
The aim is to keep casual play on PaddlePot free, so more people can get together and enjoy the game.
You don’t have to be competitive or already know all the rules. Whether you’re trying your first rally, organising a regular group or squeezing a game into a busy week, you’re welcome here.
Got an idea, a question or something that could work better? Say hello. PaddlePot is built around a love of the game, and sharing that is the best part.
